Staghorn Fern

A slow growing fern with unique antler shaped silver-green leaves.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Prefers partial shade to bright, indirect light. Allow the soil to dry out before watering. Best to water from below rather than directly on to leaves. Don't allow the plant to sit in water for too long! Likes high humidity; perfect position is in a bathroom, or you can sit the pot on a pebble tray to encourage a more humid atmosphere.

The base of the plant is covered with hard shield leaves. These turn brown with age. This is a natural part of the plant development process and not a sign your plant is dying. They should not be removed. The antler leaves develop spores (a brown fuzz); again this part of the natural life cycle and should be left intact for a healthy plant.
