Maranta Leuconeura

Maranta are variegated ornamental houseplants AKA as Prayer Plants. Maranta Leuconeura var. Kerchoveana has wonderful foliage with light grey-green leaves and darker green patches on either side of the central vein. The leaf undersides are a silvery green.

It earned it's nickname because of the way the leaves fold together at night, like hands closed in prayer.
