Peperomia Argyreia ' Watermelon'
The Peperomia Watermelon gets its name from the distinctive grey line patterns on its leaves that emulate tiny watermelons. This South American native grows in moist areas on rotting wood. It is quite a small plant and rarely grows taller than 20cm. It pet and child safe.
Likes bright, indirect light. In the wild this plant lives under trees so dappled light is preferred. Keep the soil lightly moist but let the top inch dry between waterings to ensure the roots don't rot. It doesnt need high levels of humidity but light misting of the leaves once a week will be beneficial.
