Calathea Silvia Pink

Calathea Silvia is a stunning variety of Rose Painted Calathea. Large green leaves have pale green centres banded with delicate flashes of pale pink. The backs of the leaves are a deep red-purple.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Water

Water Calathea little and often. They like the soil to be consistently moist, but not soggy. 

Light

These prefer bright, indirect light; plenty of light will enhance the variegation on the leaves. Direct sunlight will cause scorch marks and the leaves to fade. They can tolerate some shade. 

Humidity

Prefer warmth and high humidity levels. Avoid cold draughts. Stand on a wet pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently, or position in a steamy bathroom.
