Anthurium clarinervium

Anthurium clarinervium, AKA the velvet cardboard plant, is native to Mexico and grows as an epiphyte.

This is a stunning foliage houseplant with dark green, deeply lobed heart shaped leaves and contrasting white veins. The plant will flower if kept in the correct conditions.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS 

Light 

These plants enjoy bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Keep these plants away from too much direct sun.

Humidity

Anthuriums love high humidity and a warm environment.

Water

They like regular watering, but don’t let it sit in water -  let the plant drink from underneath for a couple of hours, then drain away any excess and only re-water when the top inch of soil has dried out. They require a well-draining potting compost.
